FAQ

What should I expect at my first track session with Get On The Track?

At your first event, you can expect a warm welcome, a full orientation of the track facilities, and a personalized coaching session tailored to your driving experience. Our expert coaches will guide you through the process step-by-step, making sure you feel comfortable and confident before getting behind the wheel.

What do I need to bring to a track session?

For your safety and comfort, we recommend bringing a helmet (or we can provide one), comfortable clothing, and a well-maintained performance car. Before your session, we’ll send you a detailed checklist to ensure you’re fully prepared.

Do I need prior track or racing experience to participate?

Not at all! We specialize in working with drivers of all abilities, from complete beginners to seasoned drivers. Our sessions are tailored to your skill level and designed to help you explore your car’s performance safely and comfortably.

What skills or techniques will I learn during my session?

You’ll learn a range of high-performance driving techniques, including cornering, braking, throttle control, and understanding vehicle dynamics. Our coaches will focus on helping you improve your skills step-by-step, so you leave feeling both confident and more connected to your car.

How is Get on the Track different from other track day programs?

We provide exclusive, low-stress, low-traffic track experiences with minimal traffic and a friendly, supportive atmosphere. Combined with access to premier facilities and expert personalized coaching, we offer an unmatched environment to develop your driving skills.

Will I be driving my own car, or are cars provided?

Typically, our clients bring their own performance cars to the track. This allows us to tailor our coaching to the specific dynamics of your vehicle. However, if you don’t have a car or prefer to rent one, we do have great options.

How long is a typical coaching session?

Our standard COTA package provides 2-hours of open track time. The Harris Hill coaching sessions last around 4 hours.

Is track driving safe? Will driving on track damage my car?

The track is as safe or safer than driving on the public roads, especially if you are trying to explore the limits of your car. Tracks are a controlled environment designed to keep cars and drivers safe.

Track driving does accelerate wear on your car’s consumables – fluids, brakes, engine, and suspension. New drivers typically cause much less wear than advanced drivers.

Can I bring family or friends to watch?

Absolutely! We encourage you to bring loved ones along to share the experience. Our facilities offer comfortable spectator areas, and we strive to make the day enjoyable for everyone.

How do I sign up for a session or event?

Signing up is easy! Simply visit our Booking Page, choose an event or session that works for you, and follow the registration process. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us – we’re happy to help.
